vintage 1968 emerald jim beam converted decanter with custom bent stem

this vintage emerald green whiskey decanter is part of the kentucky derby release by jim beam between the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. this piece is dated 1968, locally sourced in colorado, and converted to a fully functioning smokeware. adorned with seemingly familiar leaf-like shapes, this conversion includes a 14 mm custom bent stem, bowl, cork topper, and remnants of the original paper seal from bottling. vintage decanters are hand-selected, drilled, and fitted to stems by the artist.
